Storms with tornadoes likely anywhere from Texas up into the southern Great Lakes, but we could also see heavy downpours, dangerous clouds around lightning, wind gusts up near 75 miles per hour and also hail about 2 to 3 inches in diameter.

We're looking for a threat of severe storms on Friday too, but they will not be as severe as today. We still could see an isolated tornado, but there's a much lesser chance of that.

And this whole storm system luster is gone by the time we get to the weekend.
